"May the Fos Be With You" - Dynamic Web Design & Research Platform

This project centered on the information architecture and user experience (UX/UI design) for "May the Fos Be With You," a high-end digital platform created for Archifos. The primary goal was to transform complex lighting design research and rich media into a sleek, accessible, and manageable online experience.

The Design Challenge

The platform needed a sophisticated visual presence to match the premium, aesthetic nature of the reviewed cordless lights, while also solving critical content management issues:

Scaling Content:
How to accommodate an expanding library of 14+ product reviews (text, photos, video) efficiently.

User Access: Creating a clear pathway for public engagement while protecting proprietary, in-depth research through a members-only area.

Client Management: Ensuring the Archifos team could easily update individual light reviews without needing a developer or complex coding.

Web Design Solution (UI/UX)

The design solution leveraged the technical capabilities of the chosen platform to create a seamless and elegant user journey:

Information Architecture: Implemented a clear, two-tiered access system:

Public Landing Page:
Focused on high-impact visuals and campaign storytelling.

Private Member's Area:
Gated access leading to the full, detailed research reports.

Dynamic Page Implementation:
The core design feature was the use of Wix Dynamic Pages. This solution allowed for the standardization of a single, elegant page layout that automatically populates content (images, specs, text) from a central database for each of the 14+ portable lights.

Result:
This eliminated the need to design and manage 14+ individual pages, drastically improving scalability and reducing future maintenance efforts.

Aesthetic UI:
Employed a minimalist, warm, and cinematic aesthetic—mirroring the high-end interior design context of the lights—using clean lines, generous white space, and a focus on large, high-quality visuals to emphasize the "luminous essence" of the products.

Technical Base & Implementation

Platform: Wix (chosen for its robust database integration and user-friendly CMS).
